Honda Toyota seeking government loans to support US operations

WASHINGTON Honda Motor said it is seeking government loans to help increase its U.S. business, capital, and thus became the latest company asked the Government to help overseas operations of Japanese car manufacturers.
A day earlier, Toyota's finance arm also said it is on the financing with Japan Bank for International Cooperation for consultations. Toyota is the world's largest selling carmaker.
Different car manufacturers with the United States, Japanese auto makers have enough cash on hand, even though they are expected, due to a substantial decline in global demand, the profit for the fiscal year will be reduced, or even a loss. Japan Bank for International Cooperation did not disclose whether loans to car manufacturers, or to which company will first release. The bank's representative said that the loan transaction does not comment on the case.
